Being "Sociale" / Estando "Sociale"

I STILL HAVE more photos from our September trip to New York. I promise you won't have to look at all of them. But I do want to share photos of some of the members of my exceptional extended family. No names to remember — well, maybe a few — but there will not be a test at the end.

Our final Sunday we had brunch in Brooklyn Heights at a great restaurant called Sociale with my wonderful Aunt Millie and a select few of her extended family (who call her GMa). Before our Sunday brunch, there had been a lunch with cousin Evie, and a dinner with cousin Jess. A week filled with good people and lots of love.

  1. And now for my limited Spanish: Tu familia es hermosa.

My other favorite line is: el burro sabe mas que tu.

Cramming a lot into one trip is not actually something we're good at (especially not Jerry). This was an unusually busy trip for us, but the family sure made it nice.

Chuck loves "The Cousins," which is what he calls any extended family. But those eyes I think were saying, "Hey you're getting too close."
