Aw, Quit Your Griping

All this whining about snow. Here on the Costa del Sol, we've had our share. You don't hear me complaining. (Click any image to get a big dose of reality.)

YET ANOTHER DUSTING THIS WEEK.
I EVEN SAW A SNOW PLOW...  WELL, IT'S A PLOW.
(ABOUT TO SCOOP UP A COUPLE OF SUN-BATHERS.)
IS THAT AN ICEBERG IN THE DISTANCE?
YOU CAN'T SEE THE SNOW FROM THE LIVING ROOM,
BUT IT'S DOWN THERE.  DUDO, CLOSE THE DOOR!

  1. Oh no, it's snow! And it's in the 60's here today too. Have a wonderful weekend and dream of cozy sweaters.

I love cozy sweaters, but don't get much chance to wear them. So glad you're having a spring day!

  2. Interesting how there can be snow on the sand yet so much sunshine.

  3. Your home is so lovely!
Holy cow, you should see the snow that has just happened in Vermont. It's almost as bad as what you've gotten down there.... plus a few feet. :) I may post on FB one of the photos that a friend of our ours posted.

Thanks. I'm especially fond of our fine collection of "throws."

I can't believe those photos from Vermont! It's unbelievably beautiful, but I wouldn't want to try to dig out of THAT! Here, a little plastic pail and shovel are all I need.

So glad you're able to man up like I do. We take what Mother Nature hands out without complaint.

  6. If there's a lot of white around these parts, it's usually guano... under a favorite roosting tree.

There was a plaza in Sevilla I used to avoid at all costs. I thought it was tiled in white until I got close one day!

  9. Well I will complain, it's been 4 months of winter and tomorrow is 19 March and still we expect snow, now come on this is not funny. Nicky and Nora are from Italy and they want to go home. So do I for that matter.

If I had your winter weather, I'd be complaining, too. Constantly.
